The 73rd Independence Day was celebrated with flag hoisting and cultural events. Everybody looks at the independence celebration as the martyrdom of many Indians. It is a remembrance of countless freedom fighters and revolutionaries who struggled, stived and made heroic sacrifices to win for India freedom from colonial rule. The day was celebrated by CLHRC with great patriotism. The nursing students led the march past, they performed beautiful cultural and patriotic songs and dance. The flag was hoisted by Mrs. Sarita Tigga, Member of Jila Parisad, Mandar. Fr. Binoy MSFS Associate Director for Hospital welcomed the chief guest with a bouquet and shawl. In her address she urged to celebrate the day meaningfully. She also assured her support to regain the fame of the hospital which was in the past.
