International Nurses Day was celebrated at CLHRC on May 12th. A special mass was offered in the morning. Fr. Chonhas, the Chaplin, was the main celebrant who prayed for all the nurses at CLHRC and nurses all over the world. A prayer service was held in OPD at 9 a.m. The event had drawn together all of the nurses and employees. As a token of appreciation for their dedication and loyalty, each nurse was given a rose. In her address to nurses, Dr. Geeta Simes spoke about the significance of the day. According to her, International Nurses Day is a worldwide event that recognizes the dedication and bravery of nurses all across the world.
